About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Skärhamns Båtförening (SBF) runs the small-boat and guest marina in Skärhamn, sheltered on the western side of Tjörn. The association leases the facilities from Tjörns Hamnar and handles operation, maintenance and the queue system for permanent berths; narrower berths are usually available while wider ones have a long waiting list.
Launching and hauling out take place via the marina's slipway, which has now been fitted with a remote-controlled barrier - the payment function is not yet in place. The marina offers boat lifts by crane (Lilla Trucken about 5 tonnes and Stora Trucken over 5 tonnes) as well as truck-crane lifts at SBF's jetty, and summer/winter shore power can be connected for a connection fee.
Both the men's and women's toilets and showers have been newly renovated to a high standard, and there is also a family shower. Fixed and foldable rescue ladders have been installed in the marina, including complete sets on jetties O and M.
Berth at Skärhamn's guest marina and make use of the newly renovated toilet and shower facilities while your boat is lifted or launched at the slipway.
