Småbåtshamn

Skärhamn Marina is a guest marina located in the middle of Skärhamn on western Tjörn in the Bohuslän archipelago on the Swedish West Coast. The marina is run by Skärhamns Båtförening, which leases the facility from the municipal company Tjörns Hamnar.

During the high season you are typically met by the harbour's small service boat, which guides you to a free berth. At pontoon berths you moor bow or stern to the jetty, while at quay walls you lie alongside. Be aware that the approach from the south can be somewhat tight due to shallows in the area.

The marina offers newly renovated toilets and showers, including a family shower, along with free Wi-Fi, a washing machine and waste disposal. There is also a slipway, a mast crane, boatyard service, shore power at the berths and pump-out facilities for holding tanks. A barbecue area sits in the middle of the guest marina, where you can also buy ice cream, pick up a newspaper and hire a bike – Skärhamn is well suited for cycling.

Shops, restaurants, a food store and a beach are all within walking distance. A large ICA supermarket is centrally located in the town, and sandy beaches can be found both at Gråskäret near the Nordic Watercolour Museum and at Kungsviken on the north side. During the first weekend of June, the harbour fills up for the wooden boat festival, drawing close to 100 wooden boats and 25,000 visitors.
