About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026

Skansehavnen, also known as Nordre Skanse Havn, is a small dinghy harbour by Nordre Skanse on the northern outskirts of Frederikshavn. The harbour was built on reclaimed land in the early 1970s and has space for around 75 small boats. However, the approach channel has silted up, and it has been decided not to dredge it any further, which in practice leaves the harbour unusable for visiting sailors.

Written by artificial intelligence from the harbour's website and may contain errors. The harbour's own information always applies.
