About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Sleepboothaven Leiden is a marina for historic working vessels in Leiden, run by Stichting SHHL/Stichting Sleepboothaven Leiden, located on the Galgewater. The marina is reserved for historic working vessels, including members of LVBHB, VDMS, BASM, SKZ, VBB, NVORG and VBZ; all tugboats are welcome and may stay free of charge for 3 days.
You must contact the marina at least 24 hours in advance because of the bridges over the Galgewater, and there is a contact person for arranging bridge openings and berth assignment. Mooring is easy alongside a floating jetty. The guest berth costs 7.50 euros per night to cover electricity and water (price from 2020).
The marina offers electricity and drinking water, provided by the foundation, right at the jetty.
Moor up at the floating jetty in Sleepboothaven Leiden, report your arrival well in advance, and enjoy the historic atmosphere along the Galgewater.
