About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Slemmestad Båtforening is a member-owned marina at Bjerkåsholmen in Slemmestad, in Asker municipality. The association was founded in 1924 by members of Slemmestad Arbeiderforening, and over the years the harbour has been located at several sites in the area before settling at its current spot by Bjerkåsholmen.
The marina facilities were renewed in 2012, when a new pontoon system was built with space for around 150 boats, ranging from dinghies to somewhat larger recreational craft.
As part of the renewal, the harbour gained an approved wash-down area and a waste reception station for hazardous waste for the association's members.
