About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Søly Båthavn is a guest harbour and the home marina of Moss Seilforening, beautifully located on the south-eastern side of Jeløya by the Moss Sound in Østfold. The marina has just over 300 permanent berths.
At the entrance on the northern breakwater, just inside the harbour mouth, you'll find a guest pontoon with room for two boats side by side. Elsewhere in the marina a red/green sign system is used, where visiting boats can moor on the green berths overnight — remember to notify the night watch or harbour master if you leave the boat overnight. Be prepared that the sign may turn red during the night, meaning you may need to move to another spot. The maximum permitted boat length in the marina is 13 metres.
The marina offers shore power and fresh water at most berths, plus toilets and showers, with the guest toilets and showers cleaned every evening. There is a waste station along with the option to empty a holding tank. For launching and hauling out, the marina has a self-service mast crane, truck lift, and a self-service slipway, as well as winter storage ashore. There is no restaurant or supermarket right in the marina, but parking is plentiful.
The marina sits close to well-kept green areas with child-friendly beaches on both sides, a bathing jetty on the eastern breakwater, and good starting points for both kitesurfing and windsurfing west of the breakwater.
