About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Solheimsviken bobåthavn is centrally located in Solheimsviken, at the innermost end of Puddefjorden in Bergen. The marina accommodates both smaller and larger leisure boats – current boat sizes range from around 25 to 70 feet.
To enter the harbour with boats taller than 4.5 metres, you must book an opening of the Småpudden bridge through Bergen Kommune.
On the quay there is a service centre with toilets, showers, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. All berths have access to shore power at 230V/16A, with electricity billed afterwards based on meter readings.
The Bybanen light rail stops a few hundred metres from the marina, putting Bergen city centre just a few minutes away. Several grocery stores, cafés and restaurants are within easy reach, including Sumo Restaurant Solheimsviken serving Asian fusion cuisine. Car parking is not included, but paid parking is available in the area. Berth at Solheimsviken and take the short Bybanen ride into central Bergen.
