About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Solstrand wharf is a private boat quay belonging to Solstrand Hotel & Bad on the Bjørnafjord, about 30 km south of Bergen. There are two boat quays on the property, the larger of which is 45 metres long with a water depth of 9 metres.
The quays may only be used for embarkation and disembarkation, as well as for welcome gatherings on arrival — there are no overnight guest berths at the quay itself. If you need to keep the boat overnight, it must be moved to Os Guest Harbor nearby.
Going ashore at Solstrand, you'll find the hotel's large garden along with spa and bathing facilities overlooking the fjord. A coastal path continues towards Osøyro and Moldaneset; along the way you pass the historic cluster yard Lyngheim, which has a playground for children, and at Moldaneset there are several pleasant bathing spots in the afternoon sun.
Use the quay for a brief stop to embark or disembark, and continue on to Os Guest Harbor if your trip calls for an overnight stay.
