Sportboothafen Nordenham is an idyllic marina close to nature at the gateway to the North Sea, formed from five former clubs that each ran small jetty facilities in and around Nordenham. The harbour dries out at low tide, yet keel boats with deep draught still lie safely upright even then.

From here you can sail towards Bremen past Brake, Elsfleth and Huntesperrwerk, or reach Bremerhaven under sail in about 45-60 minutes; the hinterland between Wesermarsch and Jadebusen also offers beautiful scenery.

The marina offers well-kept sanitary facilities with showers and toilets, a chandlery and yacht service right at the harbour, plus a crane/boat lift. The site is sheltered from wind by a surrounding reed belt and features a playground for children, a barbecue hut and numerous open grill spots.
