About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Båtklubben S:t Erik is a non-profit association and boat club on Kungsholmen in Stockholm, founded in 1925 and has since worked to promote good seamanship and a good club spirit. The club has its own berths for members' sailing and motor boats, and also runs the small island of Klubbholmen (Stora Väskulholmen), which offers jetties and mooring buoys as well as two cabins with kitchen equipment, a gas stove and a gas fridge, plus two sleeping cabins with four bunks each.
The club maintains an environmental station at its yard, handling hazardous waste such as oil, oil filters, lead batteries, paint, solvents, electronic scrap and glycol. Launching of boats is done with the help of a crane truck, and haul-out traditionally takes place in the autumn, usually in early October, always on a Saturday.
