About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Stadthafen Schleswig is a municipal marina with 185 berths for guests and permanent boat owners, located at the western end of the Ostseefjord Schlei, right next to the old town with its cathedral and the historic fishing settlement of Holm. The marina takes boats up to 30 metres and has a depth at the berths of up to 3.5 metres.

The approach follows a marked channel branching off from the main fairway of the Schlei; buoy 80/Haddeby 1 (rgr) is passed on a course of 318°, with the Schleswig Cathedral serving as a visual landmark. The season runs from 1 April to 15 October. Guest berths start from €15.00 per day for boats up to 6 metres (VAT included, plus a 5% overnight tax from 1 April 2026), with the price covering up to six people per boat. The harbour office is located in the Speichergebäude at the marina and is open 08:30-10:00 daily during the season; outside the season, enquiries go to Stadtwerke SH.

Each berth has electricity and water, and the marina offers hot showers (token system), modern toilets, a washing machine and dryer (€2.50 per use), free wifi (100 Mbit/s), a crane up to 14 tonnes, a slipway and parking for boat owners.

Just 500 metres from the marina you'll find a bakery, a supermarket and a pedestrian shopping street, plus a weekly market on Capitolplatz on Tuesdays and Fridays.
