About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Staun Havn is not a traditional marina for sailing yachts, but a small coastal overnight stop on the Limfjord near the village of Staun, about 14 km west of Nibe. The site is suited for sailors in dinghies, rowing boats or kayaks and is managed by Aalborg Municipality.
Here you can stay overnight in two small, former fishing huts, each accommodating four people. The overnight site is located about 50 metres from the Limfjord with a view over the fjord. Use of the site is free, but you may stay for a maximum of two nights at a time, and spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The huts are kept locked during the winter half of the year.
At the site there is access to water and toilet facilities. There is no fire pit, and pitching a tent next to the huts is not allowed.
The site is scenically located by the Limfjord within short distance of the small village of Staun.
