About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Storøen Båthavner is a marina and boat storage site on Lake Tyrifjorden, located right by the E16 road, 2 km south of Sundvollen – about 15 minutes from Hønefoss and 25 minutes from Sandvika. The marina has rented out berths and offered winter storage on land since 1990, with room for both large and small boats, well sheltered from wind and waves.
There is a slipway with a floating buoy for launching boats, and at all piers except pier 1 you can connect to shore power and fresh water. A summer berth costs from NOK 1800 to 2400 per metre, while winter storage on land costs NOK 2000 and summer trailer storage NOK 500.
The marina has a large parking area with good capacity.
About 200 metres from the parking area you'll find an easily accessible swimming spot, and 270-300 metres from the marina lies the Tyrifjord golf club with its café, Avika, serving good food. Come by and enjoy a meal at Avika after a day on Tyrifjorden.
