About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Svedåns hamn, also known as Svedudden, is a small club marina on the western shore of Lake Vättern, run by the Sveduddens boat club. The marina is beautifully situated between two beaches at the sandy slopes of Baskarp and is considered one of the smaller harbours in southern Vättern, with roots dating back to the 1950s.
As a visiting sailor you are welcome to moor at berths marked with a green sign. The guest berth fee is 100 SEK per day including electricity, payable via Swish. Depth inside the harbour basin is around 2.3-2.4 metres, while the entrance channel is shallow outside the transit line - so follow the leading line, where the depth is about 2 metres, as the sandy bottom can shift over time.
The marina offers toilets, showers, drinking water, waste disposal and shore power at the berths. There is also a mast crane, a slipway/ramp and parking. During the summer season a kiosk opens in the harbour.
The marina is surrounded by long sandy beaches, and you'll moor right between two of Lake Vättern's most beautiful beaches - a fine stop if you're looking for calm waters, sand underfoot and a relaxed atmosphere by the lake.
