Svendborg Havn

Svendborg Havn is a town-centre municipal guest harbour right in the heart of Svendborg on southern Funen, with berths located deep inside the town itself. The harbour is an active and popular guest harbour that attracts leisure sailors, historic wooden ships, and land-based tourists alike, and it serves as a natural starting point for trips into the South Funen Archipelago.

The harbour offers around 400 guest berths reserved for leisure sailors, and during the high season staff help guide and direct boats into the harbour. The leisure berths are marked on the harbour's own map of the area. Note that for one week each September (14–20 September 2026) the harbour is closed to guest sailors due to the singlehanded sailing race Silverrudder.

Onboard you'll find modern facilities: shore power and water at the berth as well as shower and toilet facilities, with all facilities included in the harbour fee. There is also organised waste handling at the harbour, plus cosy communal areas for guests. Within walking distance of the harbour there are also a number of car parks, including at Jessens Mole and on Frederiksø.

With easy access to the town's restaurants, shops, and attractions, Svendborg Gæstehavn is the ideal base whether you want to explore the cobbled streets and café life of this historic market town or sail on to the islands of the archipelago.
