Timmernabben

Timmernabbens Båtsällskap harbor is located in Timmernabben in Mönsterås Municipality on the Kalmarsund strait, right next to the old ferry berth. It is a quiet, well-kept boat club marina on the Småland coast, situated almost directly opposite Borgholm harbor on the island of Öland. The village has a history as a shipbuilding and merchant-sailing community, and a small shipping museum in the harbor area recalls this seafaring past.

During the season the guest marina offers a small number of guest berths, mainly buoy moorings at the land quay and on the outermost pontoon of the small-boat harbor, with a depth of around 2-2.5 metres. The harbor is normally staffed during the summer months, supervised by a harbor host.

Ashore you'll find facilities including toilets and showers, pump-out for holding tanks, a laundry room, shore power, fresh water, a kiosk selling groceries, a café and restaurant, and Wi-Fi. There is also a trailer ramp and a mast crane available for boat owners.

Just a short walk from the harbor you can visit local specialities such as the Gabriel Keramik ceramics workshop, a smokehouse selling freshly smoked fish, and a confectionery producing burnt almonds – good reasons to tie up and stretch your legs in this former shipbuilding village.
