About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Valderøy small-boat harbour is run by Ytterland Småbåtforening and is located at Ytterland on the island of Valderøya, by the bridge leading to Skjongholmen and onward to Giske, in Giske municipality.
The harbour's main pier was replaced in April 2021 with a floating concrete pier (rennebrygge) from Marina Solutions, 110 metres long and 2.7 metres wide. The association is primarily open to members resident in Giske municipality, and there is currently a waiting list for new members wanting a berth.
The harbour offers a slipway for boats up to 10 tonnes. The clubhouse can be rented out for private events.
