About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Veddelev Harbour is a cooperative marina with around 120 berths, beautifully and centrally located in the southern part of Roskilde Fjord with views towards Roskilde and across Bognæs and the fjord's outer shallows. The narrow waters make the harbour well sheltered in all wind conditions, and many berths are free during weekends and the holiday season - look for the green "free" signs.
Water and electricity are available on all piers. Visiting sailors have access to the clubhouse's club room and kitchen when members are present in the harbour, which is almost always the case. The price for all boats, including environmental fee, electricity and shower, is DKK 190, while boats under the free-harbour scheme pay DKK 65 for environmental fee, electricity and shower. Payment is made via MobilePay to 81527, and the code for the clubhouse/toilet/shower and sailors' lounge is sent by phone/receipt. Maximum boat size is 14.5 m in length and 4.5 m in width.
The harbour has toilets, showers, a pump-out facility for chemical toilets, electrical outlets and a mast crane. There is also a slipway and a trailer launch site, though the launch site may only be used by members. The harbour's grill is free for everyone to use, but grilling is not allowed on the piers or lawns.
50 metres north of the harbour is a good bathing beach with a bathing jetty and clean water, and south of the harbour lies the »Vigen« campsite with Restaurant Vigen.
