About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Sønderby Havn is a small marina located on the Hornsherred peninsula between Roskilde Fjord and Isefjord, near Skibby. The harbour is run by the local association's harbour committee, and it has around 35 boat berths, which are allocated to association members each season with priority.
The harbour is classed as a category B harbour, open from 1 April to 15 November. Any surplus berths are offered as guest berths to interested sailors from the local area.
Electricity and fresh water are available at the small blue house on the harbour, and there is toilet access during the summer months. There is also a barbecue area and a playground within the harbour grounds. Parking is available at the end of Harebakkevej, about 200 metres from the beach.
The harbour lies in a beautiful and peaceful area with stunning nature, and Selsø Castle is within walking distance. The small sandy beach south of the harbour is child- and swim-friendly, with a bathing jetty and pontoon in summer. Drop anchor at this quiet natural harbour and enjoy the calm, the beach and the walk to Selsø Castle.
