About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026

Videbergs hamn is located on Båtfjorden on Halland's west coast, near Väröbacka. The harbour was originally a fishing harbour but now functions as a smaller marina, and part of the area is also used in connection with the Ringhals nuclear power plant's operations. At the quay, where Vattenfall owns part of the harbour, the depth is around 5 metres.

The small fishing harbour is today especially known as a popular spot for swimmers of all ages, with a bathing ladder, sundeck and sandy beach right by the harbour. Nearby stands Videbergslokalen, an old fishing house that tells the harbour's history through photographs and miniature models of the boats once moored here.

Head for Videberg and experience the charming mix of harbour life and beach life, where you can dip your toes in the water from the old bathing ladder after a day on the water.
