About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Viggbyholms båtklubb runs a large recreational marina in Viggbyholmsviken by Stora Värtan, in Täby municipality northeast of Stockholm. The marina is considered one of Sweden's largest and most modern leisure boat harbours, with berths for more than 1,000 recreational boats, and it has been awarded the Blue Flag certification. A small number of guest berths with pile mooring are available at pier C. The guest harbour is open for the season until the end of September, after which it closes because the guest berths are needed for the autumn haul-out.
Electricity outlets and water points for boats are available on the piers, and the harbour area has two pump-out facilities. Visiting sailors can also find toilets, showers, fuel and WiFi at the marina.
Right by the harbour stands a replica of an old Viking ship from the early 1900s, maintained by the Täby Vikingaskeppslag association — a sight you can walk to during your stay.
Drop anchor at Viggbyholm and experience one of the Stockholm area's large and well-known guest harbours, close to the water and the boating life of Stora Värtan.
