About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Vordingborg Nordhavn is a natural harbour with a beautiful location close to the town of Vordingborg, with views of the Farø Bridges and Denmark's Castle Centre with the Goose Tower. The harbour is within walking distance of the old, cosy market town, which buzzes with cultural events throughout the summer.
As you sail in, you berth almost at the foot of the historic Goose Tower. If you stay more than two consecutive nights, the third night is free. The slipway can be used for a day fee, and motorhomes are also welcome with access to the harbour's facilities.
At the harbour you'll find toilets and showers as well as a disabled toilet, electricity and water at the berths, free wireless internet, washing machine and tumble dryer, and a self-service chandlery. There is also fuel, collected via trolley, bike rental, shopping options, a café, restaurant and fishmonger, plus a playground and barbecue area. The clubhouse of the sailing club Snekken can also be used by visiting sailors by arrangement.
Within walking distance lies Vordingborg town centre with shops, cafés and attractions, and a trip up the Goose Tower rewards you with views over town, land and sea. There are fine walking and cycling paths in the area, including to Oringepynten, and Ore Strand beach is about 2.5 km from the harbour. Berth at the foot of the Goose Tower and experience history right by the harbour life.
