About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Sportboothafen Saarburg is run by Wassersportclub Saarburg 1978 e.V. and lies on the river Saar. The marina has both permanent berths for members and guest berths, spread across the main jetties and finger pontoons.
Guests must moor at the guest pontoon and report immediately to the harbourmaster in the clubhouse; berthing is subject to a fee according to the current tariff. The summer season runs from 15 April to 14 October, the winter season from 15 October to 14 April. Water levels on the Saar can fluctuate by up to about 70 cm in summer, so mooring lines and fenders must be adjusted accordingly. Refuelling in the harbour is not permitted.
The marina has toilets and showers in the clubhouse available to guests and members. There is waste sorting with containers by the clubhouse for household waste, paper and packaging. Car parking is available within the harbour area.
The marina is centrally located in Saarburg, where you can step ashore and explore the riverside town.
