About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026De Zeilhoek is a small, quiet and cosy marina on the Gouwzee, with an open connection to the Markermeer without any bridges or locks on the way. The marina offers berths up to 30 metres and also welcomes catamarans; it has held the Blue Flag award since 2004.
As a visiting sailor you pay €2.20 per metre plus tourist tax. The harbour office is open Monday-Friday 9:00-17:30, Saturday 10:00-17:00 and Sunday 12:00-17:00.
The marina offers a modern sanitary building with separate showers and toilets, free drinking water on the pontoons, power (16A) at every berth, and a washing machine and dryer (free, coins available at the office). There is a pump-out station for holding tanks and bilge water, waste containers, free parking and free wifi. On the grounds you can relax on the sun terrace with loungers, use the outdoor kitchen and barbecue spots, borrow SUP boards and open sailing dinghies such as Optimists or a Valk, and use loaner bicycles. There is a playground for children and a pleasant restaurant with a waterside terrace.
Just a 2-minute bike ride from the marina lies the centre of Monnickendam, and by car or public transport you can reach Amsterdam in 20 minutes.
