About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Nassauhafen is the home marina of Wilhelmshavener Segelclub, located in tidal waters by the Nassaubrücke and Flutmole in Wilhelmshaven. The marina offers modern berths on concrete floating pontoons, but since a central pontoon was damaged in 2015 there are no longer dedicated guest berths. Visiting sailors may temporarily use unoccupied, marked club berths and are asked to report to the Seglerheim immediately after arrival. Note that berthing at NPorts' pontoon facilities by the Nassaubrücke and Fluthafen requires prior permission from the harbour authority, as these are fully occupied by commercial shipping. Sanitary facilities for guests are found in the club's boat hall. The marina has a slipway in front of the ship reporting station, plus another slipway on the east side of the jetty for underwater hull work. A mast crane with a 300 kg lifting capacity stands by the pontoon; for three weeks after and before the club's own mast-stepping period, anyone may use the crane without prior registration. The Seglerheim is a well-regarded restaurant with club and guest rooms, terraces and a cosy bar. Right next to the marina lies the maritime mile with the German Naval Museum, Wattenmeerhaus, Südstrand beach and an aquarium. Berth at a free, marked club spot and head straight to the Seglerheim to report your arrival.
