WSC Strand Horst

Jachthaven Strand Horst is a large marina in Ermelo on the Wolderwijd, in the heart of the Randmeren area near the Veluwe. The marina has around 500 berths and has proudly held the Blue Flag since 2009 thanks to its spacious, eco-friendly setup.

The average depth in the marina is 3 to 4 metres. There is a slipway 5.5 metres wide with fenders on both sides for launching trailerable boats. All berths have their own power connection, and drinking water is within easy reach along the docks.

The marina offers toilets and sanitary facilities, a washing machine and dryer, a pump-out station for chemical toilets, and its own fuel station with SuperPlus petrol and Blue Diesel. There is free wifi without a password, free luggage trolleys, parking close to the boats, bike rental, a playground with play equipment and picnic tables by the private beach. The marina also hosts a well-stocked chandlery (H2O Sports) and the Netherlands' largest surf and kite shop, Telstar Surf, plus the restaurants Wok Inn and McDonald's right next to the marina.

Ermelo's town centre, with shops and restaurants with pleasant terraces, is about a 20-minute bike ride away. From the marina you can sail out onto the Wolderwijd with its islands and mooring spots, and continue to the IJmeer in about 3 hours or to the Ketelmeer via the Veluwemeer in about 4 hours.
