Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026WSV Herne is a German sailing club marina located directly on the Herner Meer, in a sheltered section of the Rhein-Herne Canal (km 37.7) close to the Herne-Ost lock. The marina has three modern jetties with fresh water and shore power connections.
The guest berths are at the head of the middle jetty, clearly marked, with a side mooring pontoon so that larger yachts can also berth comfortably. If these are taken, space can be found in the boxes at the main jetties. Guest sailors are welcome at any time, though prior registration with the harbourmaster by phone or email is appreciated.
Guests have access to modern showers and toilets, a club bar (Vereinskneipe) and a barbecue area. Diesel fuel can be bunkered directly at the water at the neighbouring club.
A restaurant, a snack bar and shops, as well as a fuel station, are about 800 metres away and easily reached on foot. Moor at the marked guest jetty on the middle pier, and walk the 800 metres to the restaurant and shops.
