Yachtclub Wernfeld e.V. is a small, guest-friendly marina on the river Main opposite Kleinwernfeld and Wernfeld. Guests are warmly welcomed, and the guest berths are clearly marked at the pontoons. There is also a slipway that day visitors can use for launching. The marina has a laundry, so you can get your washing done during your stay, and two bicycles are provided for guests to get around the area. Right across from the marina is a railway station, reached via a footbridge, and the regional train takes you in just a few minutes to Gemünden or Karlstadt. In Kleinwernfeld and Wernfeld there is unfortunately only a bakery (open Monday to Saturday), while the nearest shops are in Gemünden. The marina is open from May to October. Tie up at the marked guest berths, borrow one of the marina's bicycles for a ride to the bakery, and hop on the train to Gemünden to stock up on supplies.
