About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Nassauhafen is the home port of Wilhelmshavener Segelclub (WSC), located in tidal waters at the Nassaubrücke and Flutmole in Wilhelmshaven. The marina has modern berths on concrete floating pontoons, partly at Nassaubrücke and partly at Flutmole with finger pontoons, plus about 100 land spaces for dinghies and catamarans from April to October.
Since 2015 there have been no dedicated guest berths following damage to the central pontoon; visiting sailors can instead use temporarily vacant, marked club berths. Note that NPorts' pontoon facilities (Nassaubrücke and Fluthafen) are reserved for commercial shipping, and berthing there requires prior permission from the harbour authority. There is a slipway in front of the Schiffsmeldestelle for trailer boats, plus another slipway on the east side of the pontoon for underwater hull work. A mast crane with a 300 kg lifting capacity is located at the pontoon.
Visiting sailors will find toilets and showers in the club's boat hall. Restaurant Seglerheim, one of Wilhelmshaven's well-regarded restaurants, offers club and guest rooms, terraces and a cosy bar, and guests are asked to report there right after arrival.
Right next to the marina lies the maritime mile with the German Naval Museum, the Wattenmeerhaus, Südstrand and an aquarium, plus many other attractions within walking distance. Berth at a free, marked spot and walk straight in to Seglerheim to report your arrival.
