About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Yachthafen Emmerich is located directly on the border with the Netherlands on the lower Niederrhein, at Rhine kilometre 853.75. The marina has a water area of 150,000 square metres and 300 berths in double boxes, making it one of the largest marinas on the Rhine. The marina is open year-round and offers both summer and winter berths for boats of all sizes, including open-air storage, halls and heated halls.

The marina offers boat-related services with a 20-tonne crane, a slipway and a workshop hall, as well as specialists in underwater hull coating. There are cooperation partners for engine maintenance, repairs, gelcoat work and welding. Skippers who prefer to do their own work are welcome and can receive expert advice; between 15 May and 31 August, repairs can be carried out weather-independently in the halls.

There is a restaurant at the marina.

The immediate proximity to the Netherlands makes the marina a great starting point for excursions, as the Rhine splits into three rivers shortly after the border - the Rhein, Waal and IJssel - offering great opportunities for boating in different waters. Emmerich itself offers a rich range of sports and cultural activities as well as attractions, and the town particularly attracts cyclists and hikers along the lower Rhine. Berth at one of the 300 spaces and make use of the central location to explore both Germany and the Netherlands.
