About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Yachthafen Grohn is located at Vegesack in northern Bremen, with access to the River Weser. The marina is home to several clubs, including Wassersportverein Roland (WSVR), and has a well-kept pontoon facility with space for visiting sailors.
Guest berths are charged at 1 € per metre of boat length per night for sailors outside the Freihafenabkommen agreement, while members of the agreement get three free nights as long as the crew is aboard. A surcharge of 2 € per day applies for electricity, while water is free for daily use and otherwise costs 1 € per 100 litres. The fee is placed in an envelope and dropped into the "trust box" by the noticeboard at the entrance, preferably right after arrival.
The marina offers waste disposal: household waste and yellow-sack rubbish go in the bins by the gangway, while paper and bottles are sorted into containers at the harbour entrance. Electricity and fresh water are available at the berths for the fees described above.
From here it's about a 10-minute walk to the Vegesack district, where you'll find shopping at Haven Höövt as well as cosy pubs right on the banks of the Weser. A bakery and a butcher are located about 600 and 400 metres from the marina along Fr.-Humbert-Str. respectively. Bus services run from the Seefahrtstr. stop towards Vegesack station and Lesum/city centre. Tie up at Yachthafen Grohn and take the short walk into Vegesack for provisions and a cool beer by the river.
