Yachthafen Hörnum - Sylter Yacht Club

Yachthafen Hörnum belongs to the Sylter Yacht Club and lies in the northern part of Hörnumer Hafen, on the southern tip of the island of Sylt. The marina is tide-independent and can therefore be entered by large yachts even at low water, including outside the main season.

The marina has 80 berths on floating pontoons for permanent and guest boats. Free berths are recognised by NOT having a red sign, and berths cannot be reserved – simply match your boat to a suitably sized berth. The berthing fee is paid at the marina's payment machine in the clubhouse, which accepts card payment only; the tourist tax (Kurkarte) is booked separately at the same machine.

Electricity and water are easily accessible at all berths. Use of the showers is included in the berthing fee, and there is a washing machine and tumble dryer available for a fee in the clubhouse. Free WiFi is available in the marina via the network 'Sylter-Yacht-Club', no password required. Diesel can be bunkered at the daily price at the marina's fuel station, and a mast crane is available for stepping and unstepping masts. Kayakers may overnight in their own tent on the marina grounds.
