About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Yachthafen Schweich is part of the Wassersport- & Freizeitzentrum Kreusch, founded in 1967, and sits on the Moselle in Schweich close to Trier – Germany's oldest city. The marina is located at river kilometre 178.4 on the left bank and offers 150 berths for boats and yachts up to 20 metres in length.
Both permanent and guest berths are on offer; the guest berths are designed for short or longer stays and lie just 100 m from the historic Fährturm. The rate is €1.30 per running metre per night, including use of shower, toilet, wifi and waste disposal.
At the pontoons you'll find water and electricity connections, and the marina also has a slipway for boats up to 47 tonnes, a crane up to 80 tonnes, a fuel berth with petrol and diesel, and a pump-out station (3-in-1 facility) for holding tanks. There is also a workshop offering full boat service and a chandlery, a laundry, and parking close by.
Just a short walk from the pontoons stands the historic Fährturm, built in the late 18th century by Elector Clemens Wenzeslaus, which today houses a maritime restaurant with a large Moselle terrace. A supermarket and a public outdoor swimming pool are also nearby, and Trier with its rich history is within easy reach. Tie up in Schweich and round off a day on the river with an evening on the Moselle terrace.
