These terms apply when you use Klamp. They are written to be read.

The important part: Klamp does not broker berths and does not guarantee that one is free. We show what sailors have told us themselves. The arrangement to lie somewhere is between you and the berth's owner — and ultimately the harbour's own rules.

What Klamp is

Klamp is a tool where berth owners can mark their berth free and other sailors can see it. We are not a party to anything between you, we take no payment for berths, and we rent nothing out.

What you promise

That you genuinely have the right to the berths you add.
That you only mark a berth free when it actually is.
That you follow the harbour's own rules — they come before anything in Klamp.
That you give truthful details about your boat, so others can rely on them.
That you only upload photos you took yourself or have the right to use.

Availability is not a guarantee

The statuses in Klamp are what sailors enter themselves. A berth can be occupied even when the app says free — plans change and people forget. Always check on arrival, and have a plan B.

We cannot be held responsible if a berth turns out to be occupied, unreachable or unsuitable for your boat.

Navigation and charts

Klamp shows depths, seamarks and a bearing towards your destination. It is not an official nautical chart and must not be your only basis for navigation. The bearing is a straight line — it takes no account of shallows, fairways or restricted areas. Safe navigation remains your responsibility.

Klamp+

Marking your own berth free is free and will stay free. Klamp+ is a subscription with extra features. Purchases go through the App Store, and you cancel in your App Store settings. The period you have paid for runs to its end.

Karma and klamper

Karma and klamper are recognition between sailors. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought or sold, and we may adjust them if they are abused.

If someone behaves badly

We may limit or close an account used to cheat others, to enter misleading information, to upload inappropriate photos, or to harass other sailors. We do not do it lightly, and we say why.

Liability

Klamp is provided as it is. We cannot guarantee the service is always available or free of faults. Our liability is limited to what the law allows and does not cover indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in the app. Remember that the QR code on your sign cannot be recreated.

Governing law

Danish law applies. If you are a consumer, you may always bring proceedings in your own place of residence.
