Alter Marinehafen

Yachtclub Strelasund e.V. runs the marina „Zum Kleinen Dänholm“ in the idyllic channel by the island of Dänholm, directly opposite Stralsund's old town on the Strelasund/Bodden. The club has over 300 members and also welcomes guest sailors to the marina.

Free guest berths are marked with a green sign on the pontoon, where the box width is also indicated; the box length is shown on the welcome board. Guest fees are charged by boat length: up to 6 m 15 EUR, up to 8 m 19 EUR, up to 10 m 22 EUR, up to 12 m 25 EUR, over 12 m 30 EUR, day guests without an overnight stay 5 EUR. Payment is made at the machine in the club house; if not paid promptly, or if paid to the harbourmaster or on the pontoon, an extra fee applies. The sanitary facilities are open daily from 04.30 to 22.00 (closed 13-15 for cleaning), and the code for the showers/toilets and the wifi password are printed on the receipt.

Electricity and water are free at the berth. There's a washing machine and dryer (3 EUR per token), a mast crane (25 EUR per use), and parking for cars/caravans (2.50 EUR per day). A fuel berth for boats lies south of the town harbour and is well signposted.

Historic Stralsund with the UNESCO World Heritage Alter Markt square is close by, and a petrol station for cars is about 300 m behind the Ziegelgrabenbrücke towards the town centre.
