Angelverein

Heimathafen Lauterbach is a charming marina on the island of Rügen, located at Lauterbach opposite the nature reserve island of Vilm within the Südost-Rügen biosphere reserve, close to the princely town of Putbus. The marina offers 400 summer berths for boats up to 20 metres in length and 3.5 metres draught, moored at floating pontoons and wooden jetties equipped with power and water connections.

At the marina you'll find modern sanitary buildings with a laundry centre and luxurious family bathrooms, plus a travel lift of up to 65 tonnes and a mast crane for launching and hauling out. Car parking is available right at the marina, along with full yacht service including engine maintenance and repair, antifouling, osmosis treatment, electrics and heating work, and boatbuilding. At the nearby Stadthafen you can refuel with diesel and dispose of wastewater.

Within easy reach of the marina you'll find a harbour kiosk with a fresh rolls service, restaurant Kormoran plus several cafés and restaurants, a supermarket, bicycle hire and a train station. For families there is a playground and barbecue spots.

After a day exploring Vilm, the Goor forest or Putbus's classicist landscape park, round off the day with fresh fish and a sea view at restaurant Kormoran – tie up at the pontoon and step straight ashore into the town's attractions.
