About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Bjørnø Landingsbro is a simple landing pier on the north side of the small island of Bjørnø in the South Funen Archipelago, just a few kilometres south of Faaborg. Although it is not a proper marina in the classic sense, the pier is nonetheless a natural gathering point for the island's residents and visitors, where people hang out, have a drink and enjoy the sunset. The island covers only 1.5 km² and has around 30 residents.
The pier serves as a landing spot for visiting sailors, and according to local harbour guides it can accommodate around 10 berths. There is no known information regarding a VHF channel or water depth at the entrance or alongside the pier.
At the pier you will find a public toilet as well as a shower and shore power.
Going ashore, fine footpaths await, letting you walk around the whole island in just a couple of hours. Near the landing pier is a small area with goats and pigs, and in summer you can grab a meal from a food truck run by the local organic farm Økobo. There is also a small gallery, a local winemaker, and a shop selling clothing and crafts. You can also swim right beside the pier. Tie up at Bjørnø Landingsbro and explore this peaceful, car-free island on foot.
