About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Yderhavn is part of Faaborg Havn, which is owned by Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality and together comprises the outer harbour, inner harbour, ferry and commercial harbour, and a marina. The harbour lies in the middle of the South Funen Archipelago and serves as a ferry harbour with three ferry berths, as well as a fishing and heritage harbour with old wooden boats. West of the commercial harbour there is a boat ramp at Faaborg Bådebyggeri og Motorværksted, and the fishing harbour has a fuel jetty where you can refuel diesel and petrol. The shipyard harbour with a floating dock belongs to Faaborg Værft.
The approach runs through the South Funen Archipelago, giving a scenic and sheltered entry in all winds. The harbour monitors VHF channel 16. A channel leads on to the inner harbour, which can be navigated by boats with a maximum draft of 1.40 m and a clearance of 1.50 m under the bridges at normal water level. In total, Faaborg Havn has around 650 berths, of which 75 are guest berths.
Within the harbour area you will find shower and laundry facilities, a pump-out station, a mast crane and a boat crane, plus a waste and recycling station. There is also a slipway for launching boats, free internet across the harbour, and barbecue and playground areas for guests.
