About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Faaborg Harbour is an active port in the middle of the South Funen Archipelago on the island of Funen, established at the end of the 17th century and today home to commercial vessels, fishermen and yachtsmen alike. The harbour has around 650 berths and welcomes roughly 13,000 visiting yachts every year, making it one of the most popular stops in the archipelago, where you'll find 38 harbours within 20 nautical miles.
As a visiting sailor you can moor at any free berth in the harbour. There are 75 guest berths, including on piers A, B and D in the inner harbour, which are reserved for guests without special signage. Harbour dues are paid at machines located at three points around the harbour, where you can also obtain a chip card giving access to shower and toilet facilities and for purchasing electricity at the pontoons. It is also possible to book a berth in the inner harbour in advance.
The harbour offers new and spacious shower, toilet and laundry facilities, free wireless internet, playgrounds and barbecue areas. You will also find a slipway, a pump-out station for holding tanks, a boat crane and a mast crane, plus a waste station. Electricity can be purchased at the pedestals on the pontoons.
The harbour lies almost in the centre of town, so it's only a few minutes' walk to shops, restaurants and museums.
