About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 27 September 2026Boderne Havn is located on the south coast of Bornholm and is a small, privately owned harbour surrounded by sandy beaches and a picturesque, red-painted fishing hut village nestled into the steep coastal slope. The harbour is home to around 40-45 local skiffs and pleasure craft.
The harbour is well protected by a large breakwater, and small visiting pleasure craft are welcome. However, the water depth is only about 1 metre, and sanding can occur, so it suits smaller boats. Next to the harbour there is a slipway with a fine jetty where boats and kayaks can land.
On shore you'll find toilets, open year-round, plus a shower with a coin-operated machine. There is also a grill area and electricity available at the harbour.
Walk just a couple of hundred metres from the harbour and you'll find a café, a restaurant and one of the island's biggest fashion clothing stores. To the east, the Læsåen stream flows into the sea, and a network of paths follows the stream to old, ingenious sluice systems once used for catching sea trout. The isle of sunshine's broad sandy beaches stretch in both directions from the harbour - a perfect base for a calm and authentic Bornholm summer experience.
