About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Bønnerup Lystbådehavn lies on the north coast of Djursland and is a lively fishing and marina harbour with the motto "Plads til alle" – here fishermen, visiting sailors, permanent berth holders and motorhome guests all meet.
After entering the harbour you must find a free berth yourself: every berth has a sign visible from the water with a red and a green side – if the green side is facing out, the berth is free and you can moor up. Holding tanks can be emptied at the repair quay Bro W using a portable pump-out station, which can be borrowed by contacting the operations manager.
The harbour offers several eateries: Café Kajkanten at the western end of the fishing quay with outdoor seating and a good beer selection, the restaurant Frk. Kejser at the southern end serving fresh produce and take-away, Havnegrillen with waffles, soft ice cream and grilled food plus a playground for children, and the café/gallery Den Sidste Original with coffee, homemade cakes and art. Bådfokus at the harbour sells chandlery and boat accessories such as navigation equipment, covers and spare parts. There are also barbecue areas and parking, including at the slipway by the west mole.
Just outside the harbour you'll find Møllefisk and Havnens Røgeri with fresh fish from their own cutters, and the sports shop Ny Form. Moor up, follow the signs to a green berth, and take a walk along the quay for Havnegrillen's famous big ice cream waffle.
