About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Grenaa Marina, also known as Grenaa Lystbådehavn, is a large and modern marina on the east coast of Djursland, located south of the commercial harbour and ferry terminal in Grenaa. The marina has 550 berths and is built on two artificial islands, where service buildings with toilets and showers as well as a launderette have been established.
The entrance is marked by a red and green pier light that flashes synchronously, and there is a 3-knot speed limit within the harbour basin. Be aware of a limestone shoal northeast of the harbour, which is marked with buoys. Grenaa Marina can reportedly be called around the clock, and as a visiting sailor you can choose between price tiers depending on your boat's length - starting from around 170 DKK for the smallest boats - with payment by vending machine, at the harbour master's office, or by other means.
The marina offers electricity and fresh water at the berths, pump-out for holding tanks, washing machines and dryers, a crane, a slipway for launching, as well as a chandlery and a boatyard. Diesel and petrol are available, and there is free wifi throughout the marina. Ashore you'll find a nature playground, a barbecue area, bike rental and a grocery store, along with several restaurants and ice cream kiosks close to the berths. The marina also has ample space for motorhomes.
