About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026

Yachthafen Oberwinter is located at Rhine kilometre 639 on the left bank, a modern marina with berths for boats up to 34 metres long. The harbour has two water-level-independent floating pontoons – on the shore and pier sides – connected by a retractable floating bridge, and is under video surveillance at the access points, which are secured with keypad locks.

At the entrance you'll spot the rain-catcher on the pier tip; give the pier a wide berth due to shallow water, especially when arriving from Remagen. Leave the buoy marked 'Hafeneinfahrt' to port. Guest berths lie just after the entrance to starboard and are marked with green signs, while red signs (or no marking) indicate reserved berths for permanent residents. Boats over 14 metres are directed to the rear part of the harbour. Registration is done via the mailbox at the access to the restaurant ship. A berth costs €1.50 per metre of boat length (rounded up) per night, and the maximum stay for visiting boats is 14 days.

At the pontoons you'll find shore power via coin meters (50 cents/kWh) and free drinking water. Sanitary containers are located directly on the pontoons on both the pier and shore sides, with showers (50 cents), plus a washing machine and dryer in the ladies' section (€4 for washing, €1 per 20 minutes of drying). Waste bins with separation are available at access point 1, and pump-out of holding tanks can be arranged by appointment.
