About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Wassersportverein Honnef (WSVH) sits idyllically in the dead arm of the Rhine behind the island of Grafenwerth in Bad Honnef, with views of Drachenfels and the Siebengebirge. The club runs both a rowing section and a motorboat section.
Guest berths cannot be reserved in advance – the berthing masters assign a spot on arrival. Guest berths are offered for boats up to 12 m in length and 3.8 m in beam in the box berths, or up to 13.5 m in length and 4.3 m in beam at the head pontoon/south facility.
The pontoons and sanitary facilities have recently been renewed, and toilet and shower facilities are available for guests. Skippers are asked to treat the facilities with care and to avoid using the onboard toilet if the boat has no holding tank.
It is only about a 10-minute walk into Bad Honnef's pleasant pedestrian zone with shops and restaurants, and a trip to the Siebengebirge and the well-known Drachenfels viewpoint overlooking the Rhine valley is highly recommended. Tie up at the pontoon and take the short walk into town before heading up to Drachenfels.
