About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 27 September 2026Bonshaven is one of two well-sheltered harbour basins that together make up Jachthaven Wolderwijd in Zeewolde. The marina sits directly on the Wolderwijd, one of the larger inland lakes in the heart of the Netherlands, and the Bons- and Bolhaven basins together offer more than 800 berths.
Guest boaters are welcome, with around 20 guest berths available across the marina. The overnight fee is calculated based on your boat's length and width using standard rates, and extra services such as mast storage or lifting the boat out can be arranged for an additional charge.
At the berths you have access to your own electricity supply and a place to dispose of waste water, while the marina offers free WiFi and an enclosed car park. Both harbour basins have clean, well-maintained washroom facilities. For boat maintenance there is a fully equipped chandlery with an associated boatyard, a trailer slipway for launching your own boat, plus a boat hoist/crane (up to 20 tonnes) and a mobile 35-tonne crane for hauling boats in and out. The waterside campsite also has a playground.
You're just 400 metres from Zeewolde's lively centre, with a wide range of restaurants and shops. Only 100 metres from Bonshaven lies a lovely sandy beach with the freely accessible natural swimming spot 'Atol' – perfect for a refreshing dip after sailing. On foot or by bike you can also reach Western Europe's largest deciduous forest, about two kilometres from the marina.
