Cala del Forte

Cala del Forte is a state-of-the-art marina in Ventimiglia, Italy, owned by Monaco Ports. The marina was built as a sister marina to Port Hercule and Port de Fontvieille in Monaco and lies roughly a 15 to 20 minute sail from the Principality. With room for 178 boats ranging from 6.5 up to more than 70 metres, Cala del Forte is one of the most modern marinas in the Mediterranean, built with a strong focus on sustainability.

Access to the marina is guarded around the clock, with mooring assistance and surveillance backed by a network of more than 70 CCTV cameras. A limited number of berths within the marina are offered under a 40-year concession.

Ashore you'll find toilets, water and shore power on the pontoons, as well as sorted waste collection that extends even to the marina's restaurants. The Cantieri di Imperia shipyard can haul out and launch boats up to 30 metres, and there are boat-related services including brokerage and nautical support. The marina area also houses several gourmet restaurants, an ice cream bar/café and other bars, along with parking, and charging points for both electric cars and electric boats.

A lift takes you straight from the marina up to Ventimiglia's historic old town, a medieval quarter full of sights. The area also enjoys a favourable climate year-round, well-known farmers' markets and good restaurants in Ventimiglia itself.
