About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026

Dypedal marina lies in Hvaler municipality, at the outer edge of the Oslo fjord, about 25 minutes from Fredrikstad town centre, in the beautiful Skjelsbusundet strait on the western side of Spjærøy. The marina has concrete piers well sheltered from the wind.

Hvaler Marinesenter AS runs the facility and offers boat lifting with a state-of-the-art slipway trailer capable of lifting boats up to 47 tonnes, as well as indoor and outdoor winter storage in a heated hall. All work on your boat must be arranged with Dypedal Båthavn/Hvaler Marinesenter AS.

The piers have fresh water and shore power, and there is good parking at the facility.

It is a short distance to Fredrikstad town centre and the Hvaler archipelago, and just a half-hour boat trip to the Swedish coast. Berth at the sheltered concrete piers in Skjelsbusundet and enjoy the easy reach to both town and archipelago.
