About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Espevær småbåthavn is a private marina belonging to Sameiet Espevær småbåthavn, located at Svartesjøen on the west side of the island of Espevær in Bømlo municipality. During the summer half of the year part of the facility is used as a guest marina.
The guest marina comprises a concrete breakwater to the south, where you can moor alongside, as well as berths 19, 21, 23, 25, 27 and 29 outside the northern concrete pontoon. The marina is sheltered from the main traffic on Espevær and can therefore be a good alternative if you are looking for a quieter place to stay. Payment is made via Vipps: the daily rate for a boat up to 40 feet is NOK 100, for a boat over 40 feet NOK 150, and electricity costs NOK 50 per day. Please pay on arrival and no later than departure.
In the small-boat marina at Svartesjøen there are electricity outlets for your boat. There is, however, no fresh water on site - this can instead be found at Espevær kai by the Joker store.
The facility is about a 15-minute walk from Espevær kai, where you'll find the Joker store. If you're looking for a calm and peaceful marina away from the busiest part of Espevær, this small-boat marina at Svartesjøen could be just the place for you.
