About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026

Gedser Lystbådehavn is a modern, municipally run marina located at Denmark's southernmost point on the island of Falster, with direct access from the Baltic Sea and views of the offshore wind farm at Rødsand. The marina offers around 200 berths with a water depth of up to about 3 metres at the pontoons.

You can approach the marina directly from the Baltic Sea, though in strong westerly winds it can be difficult for smaller vessels with limited engine power to enter at night – in that case the Fishing Harbour can serve as a refuge. A speed limit of 3 knots applies within the harbour basin, and harbour fees are paid via a machine at the harbour office, where an attendant is also present during opening hours to offer help.

The marina offers toilets, showers and a kitchen (access requires a harbour card, with a fee for showers and the washing machine/dryer). Electricity, water and wifi are available at the berths, and bike rental is offered on site. Barbecue areas and a large, newly renovated activity/playground area make the marina a great stop for families, and the boat club's clubhouse can be used by guest sailors during the day in summer. Restaurant Najaden sits centrally in the harbour, with Toldcafeen and a Dagli'Brugsen grocery store nearby. Parking is also available close to the marina.
