About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Gyldendal Havn is a private marina in southwestern Salling, beautifully located on Venø Bugt with great opportunities for day trips around the island of Venø. The marina has floating pontoons with stern posts or finger pontoons, and several alongside berths, and can be entered day and night. There is also a slipway for launching trailer boats.
Guest berths are booked and paid for via Tallyweb; MobilePay, Visa/Dankort and Mastercard are accepted, or cash in an envelope at the harbour office. A boat under 10 m costs from 130 DKK per night, under 12 m 160 DKK, under 14 m 200 DKK and over 14 m 300 DKK. Electricity has a fixed charge of 25 DKK, and there is a dedicated spot for motorhomes at 130 DKK. The slipway costs 55 DKK, or 550 DKK for an annual pass.
Visiting boats are welcome to use Gyldendal Bådelaug's clubhouse with kitchen and TV lounge, as well as showers and toilets. The marina also has tables/benches, barbecue terraces and shelters. Restaurant Gyldendal offers views over the fjord, and there is a charming café serving good food for the whole family.
There are fine opportunities for walks in the hinterland and summer house area, including to a newly created lake with views over the lake, harbour and fjord. South of the marina lies a child-friendly beach, just 25 m from free showers and toilets, and north of the marina Gyldendal Kajak Klub has its own clubhouse renting out sea kayaks.
